I had a breast augmentation in march this year with Dr lam, after visiting a surgeon previous from a different hospital i was bit dubious as i didn't get a good feeling from that place, however as soon as i had my first consultation with Dr lam i knew i would be going ahead with the procedure. Dr lam listened thoroughly, advised proffesionally, made me laugh and put me at complete ease about the procedure and gave me confidence to go through with it. The result is even better than i expected, the scars are so neat and barely noticeable ( this was a worry of mine as i had seen a lot of untidy looking scars on the internet )you can tell doctor lam takes complete pride in his work and is a complete perfectionist. Follow up and after care was very thorough and i was always made aware it was just a phone call away if i had any questions or needed anything. To say i have only had them done a few month the feel like i have had them forever and they look 'real'! care from start to finish with Dr lam was second to none and the care at claremont hospital was perfect, from the doctors to the nurses to everyone i came across professional friendly and warm. I recommend this doctor very highly to anyone as i do claremont hospital!! A huge thank you to you all.

I wanted to have a breast reduction/uplift. I knew a couple of friends who had already had the procedure so spoke with them and Mr David Lam was suggested to me. I had already researched the procedure itself and so went on to research Mr Lam himself. I found great reviews and on speaking further to friends and colleagues ( I am a nurse ) heard favourable things about him both as a surgeon and a person. I met with Mr Lam and found him extremely friendly and approachable. He put my mind at rest in regard to any question I had about the procedure. He listened ... very important. From initial consultation to the day of the surgery ..... Lovely, friendly staff at Claremont. Mr Lam came in just prior to surgery and again was fabulous. The result .... I am absolutely thrilled with the results. I had always been self conscious as I was a 34 GG and suddenly I was 34 C/D . I also had a neck problem and believe the procedure eases this. Yes there was scarring but it is healing just fine. I had no problems really. Pain was minimal ... I did call the clinic to check on dressings etc and the nurses were great and took time to answer any questions I had. Follow up was again really good and I have been discharged now feeling thrilled with everything about my experience .... I only wish I had done it sooner !!! I highly recommend Mr Lam .... he is a fantastic surgeon and a lovely person. All the great things I heard about him are true. If you are considering this procedure .... Go for it, you will not be disappointed !!

I had breast augmentation done by dr lam he is amazing he listened to me advised me on the shape and size of implants that would suit my body frame. I had been to two consultations in the past with transform ,first appointment I was told to buy a good fitting bra the second time I was told I would need a nipple lift and round high profile implants. I payed for a consultation with dr lam I am now eleven weeks post op no nipple lift was need and my breast are amazing. If you lady’s are looking to have breast augmentation I would recommend mr lam he changed my life.

I underwent Bilateral Breast Reduction surgery in November 2017 at Claremont Hospital. Now just 2 months later, I’m more body confident than I’ve been since my teenage years (I’m 52 years old!). Prior to making the appointment I spoke to several friends who had undergone surgery with Mr Lam and were all thrilled with their results and also spoke so highly of him as an individual. He’s so lovely, he’s ‘human’ they’d say! Decision made! From stepping into the hospital for my initial consultation, my husband and I were greeted with smiles and helpfulness from staff at every level. Understandably I was nervous but as soon as I met who I now often refer to as my ‘‘Super Man’ - Mr David Lam, my reservations and nerves about the surgery diminished. It’s often said and true that you can decide on a person within the first 10 seconds of meeting them and in this case, Mr Lam was no exception. He listened to my concerns and wishes - I desperately wanted and needed a radical change. After examining me and taking several photos (which horrified me at the time: did I really look THAT bad???), he explained that I needed both a reduction and uplift. At this stage he could sense my husband’s anxieties and talked him through the surgery and the positive the outcome helping to put his mind at rest. l was booked in there and then. I made a second appointment with ‘Super-Man’ just before the operation date with one or two further queries I had and again he sat, listened and put our minds at rest. On the day of surgery I was more excited than nervous. I had waited for this day for so long. Again though part of me was understandably nervous. As soon as I saw Mr Lam however, his smile and friendliness put me at ease and I was fine. The surgery went smoothly. I had a two night stay and have to say every level of staff were brilliant and the nursing staff were absolutely incredible, so kind and caring, as were the staff within the Dressings Clinic which I attended one week later. Very gentle!! Nothing was too much trouble. I returned to see Mr Lam six weeks later for post op checkup, both he, I (and hubby) are thrilled with the results. I am one changed and happy woman. Do I have any regrets? Yes, one big one: wish I done it years ago!!

I have recently had upper and lower blepharoplasties. Mr Lam was excellent. The pre operative consultation was highly informative. I was able to choose a date for surgery which fitted in with my work commitments. The surgery was seamless, care at Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield was fantastic and I am delighted with the results. I was back working 2 days after surgery, I have experienced no post operative problems or complications. I am now 8 weeks following surgery and the results are amazing. I can wear my contact lens again without any difficulties and they no longer fall out. The after care has been excellent. I would highly recommend Mr Lam if you are considering and plastic surgery.
